Fête24 Supplies Sound Equipment to Wedding at Stunning Chateau in Périgord Noir

Over the past summer, we had the pleasure of working at the stunning Chateau de Lacoste, an 18th-century chateau wedding venue that almost has to be seen to be believed.

Not only does it boast stunning panoramic views of the Dordogne Valley, but there are meticulously looked after formal gardens, a swimming pool and pool house, a miniature chapel, a BBQ area, and over 1,000 square metres of accommodation available. As French chateau weddings go, it doesn’t get much better!

That’s why we were delighted to be brought in to supply our sound equipment rental services to a wedding production hosted at this spectacular location. So let’s dive right in and give you some more information about the work we undertook for this superb wedding.

Sound Equipment Supplied to French Chateau Wedding in Dordogne Region

Our brief for this event was simple: we were to provide a discrete and understated PA system for the daytime speeches and then handle the sound for the evening entertainment.

For the speeches, we created a sound system using a pair of d&b audiotechnik Q7 speakers complemented by a couple of Q series subwoofers. We then ran everything off two D12 amps to deliver the necessary “oomph” for all guests to hear everything clearly.

Regarding the microphones, we supplied a pair of Shure wireless mics and ran everything via the easy-to-use Allen & Heath ZED10 mixing desk to ensure the levels were spot on. We stayed on to support the evening entertainment, and we’re pleased to report that everyone enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception.
